FifeX Transformer Station!
This exhibit was designed for use as part of an outreach programme run by the By Design Group on behalf of npower. Being part of a touring show it is light and portable and is transported in an individual flight case.

This exhibit was produced in the classic npower colours and demonstrates a ‘step up’ and ‘step down’ transformer.

With specifically chosen large chunky wires – users can count the number of turns and relate that to the readings on the voltmeters in the exhibit..

This exhibit is used as a demonstration tool.
