FifeX's Stereoscopic Viewer The final exhibit, although a little bigger than the original, does resemble it in many ways. The internal mechanism is robust and can withstand a heavy usage. One small concession to modernisation was the addition of an internal light which makes the images easier to see. The exhibit is on display and has some authentic stereo images from the archive in St Andrews. We would like to thank the Stereoscopic Society for their help in producing this exhibit. This item was made as part of a project for The
University of the Museum of St Andrews (MUSA). The museum opened
in Autumn 2008 and is open to the public, but has planned events for
various groups and schools.
