Enthusing Water

This water power exhibit was developed for Enthuse (an education project from npower) as part of a suite of interactives for their school programme. The wheel which was especially made for them some years back was re-used and housed into an all new structure by FifeX.

The flexible tubes allow the water to be pointed at different parts of the wheel and the speed to be monitored - the wheel rotation speed is shown using the LED bargraph scale down the side of the exhibit.

The whole exhibit housing is made out of clear acrylic for durability and so that nothing is hidden. A lid was provided which goes over the top to prevent any water splashing out!
