Race To Recycle
Nature's World In Middlesborough is the venue for a high-tech interactive
exhibition challenge from FifeX. 'Race to Recycle' puts a positive slant
on recycling by asking users to race against the clock to recycle their
household waste into something useful!
Racing against the clock, users run around picking up bits of rubbish and sort them into one of five bins. The games they can play vary in difficulty, some requiring multiple users. The exhibit has been designed so that it is availble to all users.
The pieces of rubbish are collected in a dump, made from recycled 'plaswood' and rubber flaps on the front make the user's job more difficult as they have to rummage around to find the right material. Contaminiating a bin with the wrong type of rubbish restarts the game!
A landfill site backdrop with a seagull and JCB audio
soundtrack gives a great overall feel to the exhibit.
Race to Recycle is available to purchase and is ideal
for promoting recycling and waste awareness.
