Which Joint
The aim of this high-tech interactive exhibit is to introduce people
to the difference in the way the joints work in people with Osteoarthritis
and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
By moving the joint with their hand, the user can really
feel and hear the difference between the three joints! In addition to
a normal, healthy joint, the exhibit allows the user to get the impression
of a stiff, inflamed rheumatoid joint as well as the destruction of
the crunchy, osteoarthritic joint.
LCD shutters allow information panels to be hidden
and revealed when the relevent joint is being used.
