Visitor / Themed Attractions
Whether you're a museum, zoo, science centre, aquarium, gallery, botanical garden, library, park or historical site, you are probably already aware that you can dramatically enhance your visitors' experience with the inclusion of hands-on interactives.
Much of our work centres around visitor attractions, both large and small. Whether you need a new permanent exhibition, a series of mini interactives or even customised loan boxes, our team has a wealth of experience that will ensure that what we develop will compliment and augment your current artefacts and installations.
Universities & Colleges
We are working on a growing number of projects for further education establishments and have worked with a range of groups from universities like St Andrews, Oxford and Edinburgh. Projects have all been unique and included a variety of components from conference displays to lecture/classroom demos & touring workshops.
We also work with academics on EPSRC Partnerships for Public Engagement programmes and exhibitions for the Royal Society Summer Science; we even run logistics and project evaluation for these projects!
Private and Public Sector
More and more our skills are being used within the private and public sector to create captivating public campaigns for the likes of the NHS, the BBC, RWE npower and county councils such as Cambridgeshire, Renfrewshire and Nottinghamshire, to name a few.
Typically projects have revolved around healthcare, (renewable) energy and the environment, road safety and waste awareness but the aim of each project remains the same: to stimulate an interest in people and encourage them to want to know more!
Making concepts a reality is what we do. Our interactive exhibits/exhibitions are often used as a unique "vehicle" to build brands, develop internal communications, compliment product PR, increase corporate reputation and social responsibility and more.
We often work behind the scenes and our work is sometimes unknown to the primary client. Agencies such as Munro & Forster, Sholtz and Friends, Trimedia and Tequila have recognised our skills and have used our products for various high-profile campaigns.
FifeX has had the privilege of working with various Charitable Trusts, implementing a diverse range of products and services to suit their needs.
This hugely rewarding part of our work has recently included producing an international touring exhibition for a world-renowned Science Festival and being part of a national incentive to train and equip science teachers in their goal of making science education more exciting and up-to-date - the aim being to encourage and motivate the next generation of scientists and engineers.
