Rib Spreader , Laparoscopy and Knot Tying

Aim:To work with the clients design team to create 3 interactive exhibits to compliment objects displayed in the museum
What we did: We designed an exhibit that allows visitors to experience what it’s like to open a patients rib cage using a rib spreader , this
was a challenging design as it has to show how much force is required and be able to stand up to the amount of visitors the museum sees
We used an actual rib spreader for this and actual tools for the laparoscopy exhibit that allows users to experience key hole surgery
The final exhibit allows visitors to try their hand at tying some of the knots used in surgery
